RefacePlus

When we say ‘Reface Your Kitchen the PROPER Way’ we mean it. At North County Kitchens we reface kitchens just one way, the right way. RefacePlus is a superior method that consists of duplicating your existing kitchen cabinet face-frame with a new ¾” thick face-frame using the solid wood of your choice. The existing face-frames are removed and then the new face-frame is attached. All cabinet sides are covered with matching ¼” thick wood, stained and finished exactly as the new face-frames and doors.
Once the new face-frames are attached, new doors, drawers, drawer fronts and molding are installed. The end result is a finished product that looks exactly like custom cabinets.

Any color, any type of wood, any door style…it’s all available with RefacePlus.

Our competition has a different approach. Some attach paper thin veneers or 1/8” thick plywood (called ‘skins) directly to your existing cabinets. The ‘skins’ are cut into strips and contact-cemented into place.

Unfortunately, this method results in uneven joints, exposed plywood end grain, and adhesion problems with the contact cement due to moisture, contaminants, and room temperature.
